Our next Victorious Festival preview features Felt Tip. The British Indie Pop band hail from London and feature former Southsea resident Jade Spranklen on bass, James Tyler (vocals), Tom Rapanakis (drums) and Anton Trampon (guitar).

The band have have just announced the exciting news that they have been picked up by X-Ray Touring, who also manage Pulp, Damon Albarn, Nick Cave and Franz Ferdinand. As well as continuing to tour over the autumn, Felt Tip are will be busy writing and recording their next release.

Felt Tip have had a busy summer playing live and promoting their new EP ‘Simple Things’ which is available on iTunes for £2.49 HERE. After the first listen the title track ‘Simple Things’ will be stick in your head all day, and you won’t mind one bit.

The festival will be held on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th August, adult day tickets are currently available for £20. You can pick one up via the website HERE, or directly at Little Johnny Russells or either of the Belle Isle restaurants. Kids tickets cost £6 but those under the age of five can enter the festival for FREE.
