Hipshaker is back this Saturday (11th February) at The Wedgewood Rooms and will feature a live performance by Janice Graham Band who recently signed to Acid Jazz.

On Friday night party monsters IT’S A SIN have teamed up with the mighty HIPSHAKER for a free 2-room party at the Wedgewood Rooms – Yup, Hipshaker, and Sin, together, for nothing. What’s more, IT’S A SIN in the main room has a very special guest in the shape of GEUSHKY / KAMIGATA POP’s DAVE SAUNDERS going back to back with DJ LEMON (CHAOS/DELIGHT) so expect an extra helping of madchester and 90s brit goodness alongside the usual mish-mashup of anything and everything pre-2000, from 50s rock’n'roll to 80s electro and 90s pop and rave, while in the Edge the HIPSHAKER DJs mix up the northern soul and 60s r’n'b mod and beat they’re famous for.

Hipshaker – The Tiddly Kinks
Southsea legendary night Hipshaker plays host to The Tiddly Kinks on Saturday night at the Wedgewood Rooms. The Tiddly Kinks are a local Kinks tribute band and as as they say themselves, keep an ear out for ‘Waterlooville Sunset’, got to be good.
Tickets are £5 adv/£6 before 11/£7 after and available online.

Quick reminder that it’s Southsea Fest this weekend plus the Hipshaker DJs will be playing at the Wine Vaults from 8pm, be sure to include them in you day/evening’s must watches.

11 years certainly solidifies Hipshaker as a local institution. Pretty much everyone has been at least once and many will remember the old days. Get involved.
Hipshaker – Ready Steady Go!
As one of Southsea’s longest running and most loved events, Hipshaker kicks off another year with Ready Steady Go! The night’s heavy 60s feel has had people moving for over 10 years and has become a local institution, be sure to make it down for Saturday 24th at the Wedgewood Rooms.
